We are spending time to find out our student-athletes favorite spots to hang out on campus. This week Danielle Parlich doesn't venture far but picks a great relaxing and team bonding spot!

DP: My favorite place on campus is definitely my living room. The living room is my favorite spot because it is a great place to come back to after a long day of both school and softball and get a chance to relax. I can just sit down and eat a snack while watching some TV.

I also love it because it's a place where a lot of us on the team get together to watch movies and shows. This year I got a lot of people to watch "American Horror Story" so it's really fun when a bunch of people are there being freaked out and confused together! Also, pretty much everyone on the team has been watching "This is Us" so it's just a fun atmosphere with everyone being together and enjoying a show at the same time. I love my living room and always have fun with my teammates while there.

Danielle Parlich has started every game at second base for the Gophers in her first two seasons. She has earned NFCA Great Lakes All-Region honors in both seasons. She has a .375 career batting average and has statistically been one of the hardest batters to strike out in the nation.

The Arizona native had an adventurous summer hiking in many different places. Read about that here.
