Lucia Radio Show Debuts Tonight

MINNEAPOLIS (GopherSports.com) -The Don Lucia Radio Show returns to 1500 ESPN starting on Monday, Oct. 17 as the Gopher Hockey program kicks off the 96th year of Gopher Hockey in 2016-17.
Lucia's weekly radio show returns to the 1500 ESPN studio this year with the show airing Mondays during the season from 6:00-6:30 p.m. Joining Lucia on the show will be long-time Gopher Hockey radio broadcaster Wally Shaver while 1500 ESPN's Judd Zulgad will also join the conversation as co-host.
1500 ESPN is once again the home for Gopher Hockey radio broadcasts during the 2016-17 campaign with Shaver and Frank Mazzocco calling every game this year. Gopher Hockey All-American Pat Micheletti will join the duo for select broadcasts throughout the year.
The Gophers (2-0-0 overall, 0-0-0 Big Ten) host the regular-season home opener this Friday, Oct. 21 at 8 pm. CT with nationally ranked St. Cloud State visiting Mariucci Arena.
