B1G Championship to Feature Fan Fest

MINNEAPOLIS - Join fellow Big Ten cross country fans and running enthusiasts for Fan Fest at this Sunday's Big Ten Conference Cross Country Championship at Les Bolstad Course. Racing begins at 10 a.m. CT, but fans are invited to the course beginning at 8:30 a.m. for pre-race festivities.
Admission to the Big Ten meet is free, and Fan Fest, hosted by Nike, Mill City Running, and Gopher Athletics, is open to all Big Ten fans. Located east of the driving range parking lot and west of the start/finish area, Fan Fest will include a photo booth, face painting, sign-making station, yard games, music, concessions (including free hot chocolate and coffee), and more.
The women's six-kilometer race begins at 10 a.m. CT with the men's eight-kilometer race to follow at 11 a.m. An awards presentation is scheduled for approximately 11:45 a.m.
Parking is available in Lot S101 (on the corner of Cleveland and Commonwealth) and the Gortner Ave. Ramp. Shuttles will transport fans to the course. Fans are advised to park on city streets at their own risk.
