Danielle Nack has been named College Swimming's Big Ten Swimmer of the Week. The junior won two individual races and two relays in the Gophers' dual meet against Iowa.

Nack won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:49.30, then went on to win the 100 free in 50.31. She swam the butterfly leg of the 200 medley relay and posted the fastest leadoff split in the 200 free relay.

The Mankato, Minn., native competed at the NCAA Championships in each of her first two seasons. Last year she earned silver medals in the 200 fly and 200 medley relay at the Big Ten Championships. Nack has recorded NCAA "B" cuts in both fly races this fall.
