We went to double overtime with Tracy Claeys after last night's show and asked him some more fan questions that did not make it on during the show. We do this every week in an effort to answer as many fan questions as possible.
Dean Sorenmann: How does the Strength and Conditioning coach help the team this late in the season?
Coach Claeys: We continue to lift two times a week during the season. They are thirty and forty five minute lifts and it is all about maintaining your strength. It is hard to keep getting stronger. They do a good job and our kids maintain their strength and flexibility. That helps eliminate injuries.
Griffin Most: We kept pace with a ranked Nebraska team throughout the entire game, What positives can we take away from this game?
Coach Clayes: It doesn't matter who you play it is about how you play. We competed hard and it is a tough place to play. With 90,000 people I thought we handled the noise pretty good. It lets us know that we are close but at the same time it is discouraging when you don't get them finished. We are competing hard and giving ourselves a chance to win.
