Bacon Named B1G Diver of Week

Sarah Bacon has been named the Big Ten Diver of the Week. It is the first such honor for the freshman, and the second for a Gopher this season.

Bacon won both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions against Iowa last Saturday. She tallied scores of 317.85 on the 1-meter board and 377.10 on the 3-meter. Both scores were improvements from her debut against Wisconsin.

Prior to arriving at Minnesota, Bacon garnered national and international experience and titles. She competed at both the 2012 and 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials.
