The tenth episode of Sunday Night Overtime with Coach Claeys aired on Facebook Live last night at 7 p.m. This weekly, fast-moving and interactive show airs every Sunday on Facebook at 7 p.m. during the season and replaces the previous weekly coaches television show. Fans do not need a Facebook account to watch the show. If you miss a live episode, you can go back to our Facebook page and watch it or visit GopherSports.com on Monday to watch it.

We went to double overtime with Tracy Claeys after last night's show and asked him some more fan questions that did not make it on during the show. We do this every week in an effort to answer as many fan questions as possible.

Thad Weber: How do you prepare for an opponent when you may not know who their qb is going to be? (As you may not with Nebraska)

Coach Claeys: We have to try and find some video on the other quarterback. We will work hard on that and when we find some of the things they have done with the second quarterback in the game we will prepare for both of them. You also put a few plays together in that you may not run much in practice but the kids will have an idea just in case that second quarterback does things opposite of what you have been working on. We will make sure we have a good plan. It may take us a bit to get adjusted but we do expect Tommy (Armstrong) to play.

Jared Schjei: Hey Coach, how much do you game plan with the defense now that you're the head coach?

Coach Claeys: Not very much. I sit in with the defensive staff one day early in the week and I am with the offensive staff early one day. I watch video with them, talk about ideas and when we get to Wednesday morning I leave them alone. I think it is their choice. They are with the kids in the meetings all week so I let them do what they feel is right. That way I have an idea on what we are trying to accomplish and I try to be a resource and help them out. In the end the guys in that room have to feel good about what is going. With all the responsibilities of being a head coach I don't have enough time to spend in the room with them and I am not going to be one of those guys that show up Thursday and mess everything up telling them what to run.

Nathan Denn: What is the status of Shannon Brooks?

Coach Claeys: I am surprised he did not play this last week. I thought he would but after Thursday's practice we had a good idea he wouldn't. He could not quite get up to full speed. I expect him to play this week.

Michael Meshbesher: Will you now start Blake Cashman in the linebacker rotation after his great performance against Purdue ?

Coach Claeys: We will see. Roles are given out each week and we ask our kids to accept them and do their best. He has done that and played awfully well. At the same time you don't want to expand their roles too much and then they can't handle it. Defensively whatever we think we need to do to stop them and take away what they do best is what we will put in. We will see how much of a role he has in that. He has gotten better all year long and there is no question in the right place at the right time he can help us win.
