The University of Minnesota men's gymnastics program has added Colton Dee of Nampa, Idaho to the Class of 2021. Dee has signed an Acceptance of Admission to suit up in maroon and gold next fall.
"Colton is a great find-he's easy to work with, and we're really excited about him being a Golden Gopher," head coach Mike Burns said. "I think he has a bright future and will really shine in the collegiate setting."
Dee trains with Danik Gymnastics and won the 2016 Junior Olympic Nationals Level 10 All-Around title. Dee's older brother, Garrett, competes with the University of Washington's club gymnastics team.
Dee will join Shane Wiskus and Russell Johnson as freshman in the 2017-18 season.
