MINNEAPOLIS - University of Minnesota junior center Kelly Pannek tied a Gopher women's hockey program record last weekend when she scored two goals just 15 seconds apart in Minnesota's 4-1 win over Bemidji State on Sunday.

Pannek's goals came with 2:49 remaining in the first period and again with 2:34 remaining in the opening frame to give Minnesota a 2-0 lead. She stick-handled her way to a power-play goal assisted by Megan Wolfe at the 17:11 mark and scored her second-straight goal just 15 seconds later with assists credited to Cameranesi and Lee Stecklein.

The back-to-back goals tied Minnesota's program record for fastest consecutive goals by a single player held by La Toya Clarke, who also scored two goals in a 15-second span against Bemidji State. Clarke scored at the 5:55 and 6:10 marks of the third period in a 9-1 win over the Beavers on Dec. 1, 2000.

Minnesota's overall record for fastest consecutive goals stands at five seconds; Amanda Kessel (14:34;) and Kelly Terry (14:39) scored goals just five seconds apart in a 6-2 win at Bemidji State on Dec. 4, 2010.
