Gophers Headline Academic All-B1G Awards

The University of Minnesota had 10 student-athletes earn Academic All-Big Ten honors, announced earlier this month. In total, 1,015 student-athletes were recognized by the Big Ten who competed in fall sports across the conference.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Within Big Ten Volleyball, Minnesota, Nebraska and Illinois all had 10 individuals garner the honor, setting the most in the league.
