Three Gophers Earn B1G Weekly Awards

Matt Barnard and Yu Zhou both earned Big Ten Diver of the Week Accolades, while Lindsey Horejsi was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week. Zhou and Barnard earn the 14th and seventh honors of their career, while Horejsi wins her second.
Barnard and Zhou each won two events at the Jean K. Freeman Invitational Friday and Saturday. Zhou had scores of 398.10 in 3-meter and 349.70 in 1-meter. Barnard was only nine points off his school record with a 441.65 on the 3-meter board. He scored 385.45 in 1-meter.
Horejsi had two individual fourth-place finishes at the AT&T Winter National Championships. She clocked a 59.41 in the 100-yard breaststroke, and a 2:10.05 in the 200-yard breaststroke. Horejsi was part of both winning Gopher medley relays, with the best breaststroke splits of the field.
