Coach's Corner: February 10

In the newest episode of Coach's Corner, Head Assistant Coach Brandon Eggum takes a look back at a pair of road wins last weekend for the Gophers ââ'¬" first a 22-20 win over Northwestern on Friday night, then a 17-16 victory over border rival Wisconsin on Sunday.
Half of the Gophers lineup went 2-0 on the road trip: No. 7 Tommy Thorn, Brandon Kingsley, Nick Wanzek, No. 3 Brett Pfarr and No. 9 Michael Kroells. Neither Wanzek nor Kroells was taken down by either of his opponents over the weekend, while Kingsley and Pfarr both scored critical bonus points, first Kingsley with a fall on Friday, then Pfarr with a tech fall on Sunday.
Eggum also briefly looks ahead to this Friday's Big Ten regular season finale at Illinois. Minnesota will be looking for its fifth win in its last six duals when it visits Champaign this weekend.
