Gophers No. 4, Pochinka No. 1 in Nation

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota Men's Gymnastics team has six gymnasts nationally ranked in the top-10 in several events, according to RoadToNationals.com, the hub for collegiate gymnastics.

The Maroon and Gold is ranked No. 4 in the country behind Oklahoma, Stanford and Ohio State, respectively.

Sophomore Yaroslav Pochinka is slotted at No. 1 on Vault, scoring an average of 15.383.

Junior Zach Liebler is ranked in the top-three on Floor for the fifth consecutive week. The Pine Island, Minn. native is ranked second in the nation, with an average score of 15.700. He is also tabbed at No. 5 on Vault (15.183).

Sophomore Alex Wittenberg joins Liebler in the Floor rankings at No. 8, averaging a score of 15.400.

Freshman Justin Karstadt appeared in the All-Around top-10, coming in at No. 8 (84.550). Karstadt is also tied for ninth on Pommel Horse (14.967).

On Parallel Bars, sophomore Tristan Duran and senior Paul Montague Jr. rank seventh (14.983) and 10th (14.917) respectively.
