Why is Gopher Hockey Gameday at Mariucci Arena the best? We here at GopherSports.com want to count the ways (13 in all) in GIF form.
1. You get to use your game day classes as opportunities to come up with insults for the opposing team:

2. Showing off your gopheralls with the crew as you head in to Mariucci:

3. Preparing for puck drop with a tasty snack:
Smoothies at an ice rink? You betchya.
4. Finding and then heckling the other goalie for the entire night:

5. Watching Schierhorn do Schierhorn things:

6. When the second period rolls around and you're waiting for the under-15 TV timeout...
What are we getting?
7. And then it happens:
WEIRD!
8. The look you give the refs when they make a bad call and the Gophers have to kill off a penalty:

9. But then the Gophers score the shorty and you're all like:
