Six Gophers Qualify for NCAA Championships

Six swimmers of the Minnesota women's swimming and diving program have qualifed for the 2016 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, announced today by the NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Committee. Minnesota has also qualifed to compete in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay.
The championship meet will be contested March 16-19 in Atlanta, Georgia at the McAuley Aquatic Center, hosted by Georgia Tech.
Minnesota divers are scheduled to compete at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships at Texas A&M this March 7-9. Selected divers will advance to the championship meet.
