Banham Gets WBCA All-America Honorable Mention

The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) has named Gophers senior Rachel Banhaman honorable mention All-American. Banham has received All-America First Team honors from the Associated Press, John R. Wooden Award and espnW.
Banham is the No. 2 scorer in the nation this season at 28.6 points per game. The Big Ten Player of the Year set a Big Ten season scoring record in conference play, and broke her own Minnesota season record.
Banham is one of 10 Gophers All-Americans in program history. She is still in contention for other national awards this season, including the John R. Wooden Award and Ann Meyers Drysdale Award.
