Gophers Grab Top Spots at Tapemark - Van Rooyen Wins | Leaderboard
Erik Van Rooyen finished atop the scoreboard at the 2016 Tapemark Charity Pro-Am. He finished 13 under for the tournament, with a 7-under 64 in the second of three rounds. Van Rooyen's fellow Minnesota alum, Gophers assistant coach Justin Smith, was the runner-up at 8 under. Head coach John Carlson tied for third with a 6-under score, including a round of 66 to open the tournament.
Fisher Qualifies for State Am - Leaderboard
Campbell Fisher, who redshirted his freshman season in 2015-16, has qualified for the Georgia Amateur Championship. Fisher carded an even-par 72 to tie for fourth at the Atlanta Athletic Club qualifier on June 6. The Georgia Amateur Championship will take place July 11-17 at Capital City Club's Brookhaven Course.

Men's Golf and Women's Hockey Golf Outing - Brochure
The Gophers' joint golf outing with the national champion women's hockey program is set for July 25 at North Oaks Golf Club. Attendees may choose to play golf and/or come to dinner. Registration information can be found in the brochure linked above, or at goldengopherfund.com under "Events."
Quick Hits with a Returning Gopher
On the course, what are you looking forward to this summer?
Matt Rachey: I am looking forward to playing the Greystone Invitational down in Birmingham, Alabama in at the end of June. Campbell Fisher and I are actually going down there together and staying with each other.
Do you have any fun plans off the course?
MR: I went to visit my cousin at her new home down in Milwaukee and then went to the Kenny Chesney concert at Miller Park with her that same weekend. I also went to the Kenny Chesney concert last summer at Target Field and it was one of the best concerts that I've been to.
