Graduated senior Jon DuToit and returning senior Grady Meyer were named Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars. The list of honorees was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

DuToit, who graduated this spring with a degree in business and marketing education, was part of the Gophers' Big Ten Championships lineup in each of his four years. As a senior he led the team with a 73.59 stroke average and was Minnesota's top finisher in five tournaments. DuToit earned Academic All-Big Ten status three times, and this is his second academic award from the GCAA.

Meyer is a marketing major who ranked second on the team with a 74.00 stroke average last season. He played in eight tournaments as a junior, including posting a career-low tournament score of 215 at the Alister Mackenzie. Meyer is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

To earn All-America Scholar recognition a student-athlete must be a junior or senior, have competed at least three years, play in at least 50 percent of his team's competitive rounds, hold a stroke average under 76.00 and a 3.2 cumulative GPA.
