Minor Leagues

  • Austin Athmann (Connecticut Tigers) collected his first professional RBI Saturday night.
  • Matt Fiedler (Johnson City Cardinals) is currently on a three-game hitting streak and hit his first professional home run on the fourth of July.
  • Jordan Jess (Bristol Pirates) picked up his second win of the season. He is now 2-0 with three strikeouts in 4.1 innings of relief.
  • Ben Meyer (Greensboro Grasshoppers) recorded a win on Sunday after pitching 4.1 innings and recording four strikeouts.
  • Dalton Sawyer (Vermont Lake Monsters) has pitched 5.0 innings of relief with one save, five strikeouts and a 1.80 ERA. Opponents have a .118 batting average versus him.
  • DJ Snelten (San Jose Giants) pitched one inning of relief where he retired the side in order.
Northwoods League
  • Ben Mezzenga (Eau Claire Express) has collected four hits in the last two games. He swiped three bases in last night's game and now has 17 stolen bases on the season, second most in the league.
  • Micah Coffey (Kenosha Kingfish) is currently on a three game hitting streak which has bumped his batting average up to .313.
  • Nick Lackney (Lakeshore Chinooks) pitched 4.0 innings of relief where he had two strikeouts.
  • Cole McDevitt (Lakeshore Chinooks) recorded his first hit of the summer on Saturday.
  • Jordan Kozicky (Mankato MoonDogs) has a .341 batting average which is tied for fifth highest in the league. He has also walked ten times resulting in a .419 on base percentage.
  • Brian Glowicki (St. Cloud Rox) recorded a save in his first game of the summer where he struck out three batters in two innings.
  • Alex Boxwell (Waterloo Bucks) went 2-3 on Sunday. He now has a .273 batting average and has scored 14 runs.
  • Tyler Hanson (Willmar Stingers) landed his third win of the season on Sunday where he pitched 7.0 innings and collected eight strikeouts. He is now 3-0 on the season with 20 strikeouts and a 2.34 ERA.
  • Eddie Estrada (Willmar Stingers) went 4-5 with one home run and five RBIs for an 11-4 win on Friday night. He has a .313 batting average with 11 RBIs.
  • Reggie Meyer (Wisconsin Woodchucks) made his summer debut where he pitched 5.0 innings, recording three strikeouts in a no decision.
