Glowicki Named Postseason All-Star

Full NWL Postseason All-Star Roster
After a dominant second half in the Northwoods League, University of Minnesota pitcher Brian Glowicki was named to the league's postseason all-star team.
The upcoming senior made 14 appearances out of the bullpen for the St. Cloud Rox. He ended the regular season with a 0.45 ERA along with 10 saves and 27 strikeouts. Glowicki allowed just nine hits and three walks over the season. In his first 17 innings of the summer, Glowicki did not allow a run.
Last season, Glowicki pitched 27.1 innings in 46 appearances for the Gophers. He struck out 29 batters along with posting an ERA of 3.29 with one save.
Glowicki's St. Cloud Rox begin their postseason play tonight as they host the Willmar Stingers after finishing the season with a 48-23 overall record.
