Gophers Visit Minnesota State Fair

MINNEAPOLIS - Members of the back-to-back defending national champion Golden Gopher women's hockey team have appeared at the Minnesota State Fair this week.
Assistant captain Kate Schipper and Gopher men's hockey captain Justin Kloos visited with University of Minnesota President Eric W. Kaler and University of Wisconsin-Madison Chancellor Rebecca M. Blank as part of a Border Battle themed State Fair outing.
Kelly Pannek joined Schipper and Gopher women's basketball's Whitney Tinjum on WCCO's Sports Huddle with Dave Mona on Sunday morning. Listen to the broadcast here.
Finally, Schipper joined fellow captains Lee Stecklein (C) and Dani Cameranesi (A) along with head coach Brad Frost on stage outside of the University of Minnesota building for trivia, photos, and fun with fans.
