Sophomore Peter Jones finished third at the Saint John's Fall Invitational. Playing as an individual, he finished 1 over par at Greystone Golf Club in Sartell, Minn.

Jones carded a season-best, even-par 72 on Saturday, then followed up with a 73 on Sunday. He was two shots behind the winner, Ryan Isaacson of UW-Eau Claire. Freshman Mason Fiddle tied for 40th.

Six Gophers will begin play at the Inverness Intercollegiate in Toledo, Ohio, on Monday. Click here for more information.
