We are spending the next couple months finding out our student-athletes favorite spots to hangout on campus. This week junior Ellie Cowger shares her favorite which happens to be one of our favorites as well.
EC: My favorite place on campus is our press box at Jane Sage, but only when there is no one else up there. I love sitting up there and looking out onto the field to do my homework. It is so peaceful. I bring food and sparkling water and sit up there for hours at a time on our days off.
Cowger has appeared in 67 games in her career. She has stolen six bases and has scored 24 runs. Off the field Cowger has made the most of her educational and professional opportunities.
She had a jam packed summer with various internship and personal growth experiences. Read all about that here.
Being a Gopher means a lot to Ellie. A majortiy of her family has ties to the University. Read a feature on the Cowger family here.
