Gophers Announce 2016 Fall Schedule

The University of Minnesota softball team has announced its 2016 fall schedule. The Gophers will play in doubleheaders at newly upgraded Jane Sage Cowles Stadium against four opponents: North Dakota State, Concordia University, St. Paul, the University of Minnesota-Duluth and St. Cloud State.
Admission to all fall games is free.
The Maroon and Gold first hit the field against NDSU on Sept. 25 at 12 p.m. The two teams faced off twice at the NCAA Regionals this past season with the Gophers winning both games.
In October the Gophers will have three straight weekends with fall action. They take on Concordia-St. Paul on Oct. 7 starting at 5 p.m., host UMD Oct. 15th at 1 p.m. and finish out the fall against St. Cloud on Oct. 21 at 5 p.m.
Minnesota will have a mix of returners and newcomers on the team this season.
