SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Former Gopher Hockey captain Justin Kloos will make his NHL debut tonight for the Minnesota Wild as the organization kicks off a six-game homestand on Tuesday against the Vancouver Canucks. Game time is set for 7 p.m. CT on FOX Sports NORTH and KFAN.

Kloos will be the 113th Gopher Hockey alum to suit up in an NHL game and the 14th to do so as a member of the Minnesota Wild.

A native of Lakeville, Minn., Kloos did not miss a game in his four-year career with Gopher Hockey, playing in 155 games and scoring 150 points (63 goals, 87 assists). The forward graduated with the 28th most points in program history. A two-year captain for the Maroon & Gold, Kloos earned First Team All-Big Ten honors as a senior and Second Team All-Big Ten honors as a junior.

He led Minnesota to four-straight Big Ten regular-season titles, the 2015 Big Ten Tournament title and three NCAA tournament berths including a national championship appearance in 2014.

Kloos signed with the Wild as a free agent following his senior season.

The Gophers return to action next weekend at 3M Arena at Mariucci with a nonconference series against Clarkson.
