ATLANTA - On a day when many of their scores dropped, the Minnesota women's golf team moved up one spot in the team leaderboard at the Louisville Ladies Fall Invitational Saturday. With 36 holes in the books at the Atlanta Athletic Club Highlands Course, the Gophers are eighth with two players in the top 20.

Freshman Grace Kellar (76-77-153) and junior Muyu Wu (77-77-154) are tied for 17th and 19th at 9- and 10-over-par, respectively. Freshman Joanne Free is three strokes behind Wu, tied for 32nd at 12-over (82-75-157) after the low Gopher round of the day.

Senior Sabrine Garrison (83-76-159) and freshman Kate Lillie (86-82-168) both saw improvement in the second round as well, ending the day tied for 45th and 63rd respectively.

Individual competitor Jessica Lee (85-79-164) shaved six strokes off her round Saturday as well, as the freshman is tied for 53rd.

Host Louisville and Kennesaw State share the team lead at 20-over-par, with the Gophers eighth at 47-over (318-305-623). Coastal Carolina's Malene Krolboll Hansen maintained her position atop the leaderboard after her second-straight even-par round.

The Louisville Ladies Fall Invitational concludes with final round action Sunday morning, and the Gophers scheduled to tee off at the 10th hole beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET.
