The Golden Gophers will travel to Denver, Colo. to face No. 11 Denver for the second time this season. The two teams opened the 2017 season at the Sports Pavilion in January. Denver won the meet, 195.875-194.725.

Last Time Out
This past weekend, Minnesota fell to No. 16 Nebraska with a final score of 196.550-194.550. Ciara Gardner led the team in four events, winning floor with a 9.900. Rookie Ivy Lu earned gold on uneven bars for the second-straight week. While it's the Gophers' second straight conference loss, the team was able to build their score by over a point and a half from Illinois.

Floor On Fire
The Gophers remain consistent on floor this season and are currently ranked No. 8 in the nation. Coach Jenny Hansen credits the lineups' diverse routines that show their individual personalities to the success. Minnesota has scored above a 49.000 and won gold in the event in all but one meet.

Half And Half
With the spring semester addition of freshman Mary Korlin-Downs, The Gophers' roster is now composed of nine newcomers and nine returners. With such a young team, Minnesota's lineups have seen a big shift.

Returning Home
Colorado natives and Golden Gophers Bailey Abernathy, Bailie Holst and Rachel Rowland will return to their home state for the meet. Abernathy and Rowland competed at the same club, along with recent alum Lindsay Mable.

About Denver
The Pioneers enter the weekend coming off an upset win over No. 7 Boise State. Denver scored a
season-high 197.125. By event, the program is ranked in the top 20 in every event, with their highest ranking at No. 11 on bars. Denver holds an edge over the Gophers in every event but floor. Freshman Maddie Karr leads the team in the all-around competition, her 39.393 average is ranked 12th in the nation.
