2020 | SENIOR SEASON
Appeared on the uneven bars (9.875) and balance beam (9.825) for the Gophers against Denver • scored a 9.950 in the two-spot on beam at the Rutgers quad meet, helping Minnesota to a new program record on beam (49.700) • took second on bars (9.925) against Illinois • finished second on bars (9.950) and beam (9.925) against Ohio State • won the beam (9.925) and uneven bars (9.875) event titles against Iowa • posted a 9.900 on bars and a 9.925 on beam to finished second against Nebraska • had a 9.850 on bars at Big 5s • posted a 9.900 on bars to finish third and a 9.925 to finish second on beam at NC State • won a pair of event titles • two-time B1G Event Specialist of the Week • became the third Gopher gymnast to earn the Big Ten Medal of Honor for Minnesota • First Team All-Big Ten • named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large team • Academic All-Big Ten • Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award recipient • nominated for 2020 NCAA Woman of the Year • Season ended on March 12, 2020, when the Big Ten and NCAA announced they were ceasing competitions and championships because of COVID-19 public health concerns.

2019 | JUNIOR SEASON
Competed on the uneven bars and balance beam for the Gophers • recorded a 9.925 on bars at the Best of Minnesota meet (Jan.12) • earned a 9.950 on bars and a 9.900 on beam at Penn State (Jan. 26) • scored a 9.900 on beam vs Michigan State (Feb. 2) • received a 9.900 on bars at Nebraska (Feb. 9) • notched a school-record tying 9.975 on bars and her third 9.900 of the season on beam vs Maryland • scored a 9.925 on bars and a 9.900 on beam at the Big Five meet (Feb. 23)• tallied a 9.925 on bars vs Pittsburgh on senior night • finished second place on bars at the Big Ten Championships with her score of 9.950 • recorded a 9.900 on bars and a 9.800 on beam at the NCAA Regional Semifinals • scored a 9.975 on bars at the NCAA Regional Finals, tying the school record for the fourth time in her career and the second time in 2019 • got a 9.900 on beam in four meets • selected as Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week four times over the course of the 2019 season • ranked No.10 in the country and No. 1 in the Big Ten on bars • Second Team All-American (UB) •  First Team All-Big Ten for the second consecutive year • Academic All-Big Ten.

2018 | SOPHOMORE SEASON 
Competed on bars and beam • won programs first conference championship on bars since 2002 with a 9.950 • named an NACGC/W Regular Season First-Team All-American on bars • earned First Team All-Big Ten honors • finished with a 9.955 RQS on bars • posted a school-record perfect 10 on beam at Mardi Gras Invitational • recorded a career-high and school record 9.975 on bars in two straight weeks, including one to compliment her perfect 10 on beam in St. Louis • earned a 9.900 in season opener on bars to go with a 9.725 on beam • had a 9.950 on bars against Arizona State • posted four straight 9.950 scores throughout the month of March • had a 9.950 on bars at Big Ten Championships • posted a 9.825 on bars at NCAA Regionals. 

2017 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Recorded a personal record on bars with a 9.900 at NCAA Regionals • competed on bars at B1G Championships • competed on bars at the Big Five Meet • placed fourth on bars with a 9.825 against BYU • competed on bars at Best of Minnesota Meet • competed on bars in competition at Denver • placed first on bars with a 9.875 against Nebraska • recorded a 9.875 on bars • competed in bars vs. Ohio State • placed third on bars with a 9.800 vs. Michigan State • scored an 8.900 on beam at Maryland Quad • made collegiate debut with a 9.775 on bars in season opener vs. Denver.

Graduate of Antoine-de-Saint-Exupery High School • coached by Katerine Dussault, Pierre Prive, Francine Bouffard of Gymnix • all-around and beam champion in open category at the 2015 Canadian Championships.

PERSONAL
Daughter of Chun Lu and Kathy Zhu • has one sister (Vicky) • graduated in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Asian languages and literature • currently receiving her Masters in sport management.
