On learning outcomes from tonight's game...
"A couple things standout: handling physicality around the basket was something that we didn't do well and we have done well in that area, but not consistently. I thought they just really increased their intensity and rebounded the ball down the stretch a lot better than we did. It ended up being a big difference maker."
On mistakes that were made...
"It gets stagnant at times in terms of moving the ball around. They sat in the zone all night but they were really wide taking care of the perimeter. Something that really hurt us was not being able to score in the basket on some high-low looks. We didn't finish well. Offensively, that was a big difference in the game."
On Maryland's shot blocking...
"Some of that happened in transition drives and different things, but what we were trying to do with them sitting so wide in the second half was get the ball more in the interior. We made a good entry pass a lot, we just didn't do a lot with it. Whitney, in particular, made some good reads on the pass-out. She hit Carlie one time and Godiva one time in the corner, which was what was open, but we weren't able to hit the threes at that time. Really, the points in the paint bothered us a lot."
