Women's Hockey - #5
Last Week: The Gophers swept Minnesota State, winning game one of the two-game series 5-0 and game two 5-3.
This Week: The back-to-back defending national champion University of Minnesota women's hockey team is back home at Ridder Arena for the final two weeks of the regular season beginning with a series with North Dakota this weekend. The Gophers and Fighting Hawks face off at 7 p.m. CT Friday and 4 p.m. CT Saturday.
Men's Gymnastics - #5
Last Week: The University of Minnesota placed first with a score of 400.750 in a tri-meet with Nebraska (396.700) and the University of Minnesota Club Team (218.150) on Saturday afternoon at the Sports Pavilion.
This Week: The Gophers will travel to Iowa City, Iowa next week to face the Hawkeyes and reigning national champion Oklahoma. The meet is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 10 at 7:00 p.m.
Men's Hockey - #5
Last Week: Leon Bristedt's first career hat trick carried the No. 7 Gopher Hockey program to a 5-2 win over No. 4/6 Penn State on Saturday night as the Maroon & Gold swept the Nittany Lions at Mariucci Arena.
This Week: The Maroon & Gold return to action next weekend with a two-game Big Ten series at Ohio State.
Wrestling - #12
Last Week: In its fourth home dual against a top-five opponent this season, No. 10 Minnesota fell to third-ranked Iowa, 27-11, on Sunday afternoon at the Sports Pavilion in front of a season-best crowd of 3,749.
This Week: The Gophers have just one dual left on what has been the most challenging home schedule in the nation this season. That comes next Sunday, when Minnesota welcomes No. 4 Ohio State to the Sports Pavilion for a 1 p.m. dual.
Softball - #14/#16
Last Week: The Gophers are ranked in the USA Softball Top-25 with a No. 14 ranking. For the third straight season the University of Minnesota starts the season ranked in the USA Today/NFCA Division 1 Preseason Top-25 poll coming in at No. 16.
This Week: Minnesota will start their season on Feb. 10 as they compete in the Texas Tournament in Austin, Texas. Their first opponent will be fellow Big Ten Team Maryland at 11:30 a.m. CT.

Last Week: The men's and women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up their regular season at the Minnesota Challenge last weekend.
Coming Up: The women are gearing up for the Big Ten Championships, which run Feb. 15-18.
