Minnesota had another great day in the gym and followed up with a video session. After that, the Gophers had some down time and later went out to eat as a team. The Gophers woke up and headed to the University of Hawaii for workouts and practice. They opened the day with a workout, led by strength and conditioning coach Sara Wiley. The Gophers then held practice, where they focused passing, serving and hitting during that time. It was a good start to the week as the Gophers will practice again on Tuesday and Wednesday before their Thursday match vs the Wahine.
Following practice, the Gophers visited the beach, played a little sand volleyball and canoed. After dinner, Minnesota watched the fireworks held in conjunction with the Honolulu Festival.
