MINNEAPOLIS -- Last weekend Megan Bozek, Jordyn Burns, Amanda Leveille, and the Buffalo Beauts won the 2017 Isobel Cup Championship. Catch up on the championship game, as well as the semifinal games and final regular season games for the Gophers in the NWHL this season.

Seven University of Minnesota alumni competed in the NWHL this season: Megan Bozek, Jordyn Burns, Amanda Kessel; Amanda Leveille, Gigi Marvin, Milica McMillen, and Anne Schleper.

In addition, fellow alumni Sarah Davis and Kelly Terry continued their CWHL careers this season, capped off by Davis and the Calgary Inferno playing in the Clarkson Cup championship game.

Buffalo Beauts at Connecticut Whale -- March 12
The Buffalo Beauts topped the Connecticut Whale 4-3 during the last game before the NWHL playoffs. Connecticut opened scoring just 20 seconds into the game, but the Beauts responded before the first period concluded, with Jordyn Burns tallying an assist on the goal. In the second period, the Beauts scored two goals to take a 3-1 lead. The Whale opened the third period with two goals from Kelli Stack to tie the game, before the Beauts responded late in the game to win 4-3.

Boston Pride at New York Riveters -- March 12
The New York Riveters upset the Boston Pride 3-2 in each team's final game before the NWHL playoffs. After a scoreless first period, New York tallied two goals to open the second period, one of which was netted by Milica McMillen. Boston responded on the power play later in the period to put the game within one. At the beginning of the third period, the Pride scored a goal to tie the game, but shortly after the Riveters scored a power-play goal on which Amanda Kessel assisted, which earned them a 3-2 victory.

Connecticut Whale at Boston Pride -- March 16
The Boston Pride opened the 2017 NWHL playoffs with an 8-2 victory over the Connecticut Whale. Boston scored two, first-period goals to begin the game and scored another goal early in the second period before the Whale responded. The Pride scored two more goals before the middle frame concluded to take a 5-1 lead going into the final period. Connecticut scored early in the third period, but Boston's three unanswered goals, one of which was scored by Gigi Marvin, secured the 8-2 win.

Buffalo Beauts at New York Riveters -- March 17
The Buffalo Beauts beat the New York Riveters by a score of 4-2, which allowed them to advance to the Isobel Cup Final. Former Gopher Megan Bozek opened the game with a first-period power-play goal. At the beginning of the middle frame, the Beauts took the 2-0 lead before New York responded to make it a 2-1 game. Buffalo scored another goal before the period concluded to hold a 3-1 lead going into the third period. New York scored a goal 11 seconds into the third period to make it a 3-2 game, a goal on which Amanda Kessel assisted. The Beauts scored another goal before the game ended with Bozek picking up an assist. During the game, Amanda Leveille made 34 saves to secure her team's victory.

Buffalo Beauts at Boston Pride -- March 19
The Buffalo Beauts won its first Isobel Cup with a 3-2 victory over the Boston Pride in the league championship game. Megan Bozek started the championship game with an early goal for the Beauts. The Beauts scored one more goal before the first period concluded, and one in the middle frame, to take a 3-0 lead going into the third period. Boston tallied the only two goals in the third period, one of which was assisted by Gigi Marvin, but Buffalo's lead stood. Bozek assisted on her team's second period game-winning goal.
