Gophers End Regular Season

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Minnesota women's golf team ended the regular season Sunday, taking 10th place at the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational. The Gophers finished the two-day tournament at 80-over-par (313-314-317--944).
Junior Heather Ciskowski placed in the top-25 for Minnesota, tying for 24th place and hitting 15-over-par (76-79-76--231). Just three strokes behind was senior Emie Peronnin, who tied for 33rd place (78-72-84--234).
Sophomore Muyu Wu took 46th place (80-80-78--238), while junior Sabrine Garrison tied for 58th place (79-83-81--243). Rounding out for the Gophers was sophomore Niamh Ward, who tied for 73rd place (88-84-82--254).
Michigan State took home the team lead, collectively hitting 25-over-par (300-290-299--889), while Sophia Schubert of Texas came in first on the individual leaderboard, hitting 3-under-par (68-72-73--213).
The Gophers will open postseason play season next weekend at the Big Ten Championships in Maineville, Ohio.
