Minneapolis, Minn. -- The University of Minnesota campus will be busy this weekend, with overlapping events Friday through Sunday. Visitors to campus are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel and parking.
Gopher baseball, softball, men's tennis and volleyball all play at home on campus this weekend. Lot 37 will be closed all weekend due to Spring Jam.
Friday's events include men's tennis versus Purdue at Baseline Tennis Center (3 p.m.), softball versus Iowa at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium (6 p.m.) and baseball versus Nebraska at Siebert Field (6:30 p.m.). The Spring Jam Concert will begin at 4 p.m.
Events will continue Saturday as softball hosts Iowa (1 p.m.), baseball hosts Nebraska (2 p.m.) and volleyball hosts Iowa State at the Sports Pavilion (2:30 p.m.). On Saturday, 5th Street behind Mariucci Arena will be closed between Oak Street and 17th Avenue. Fans looking to access 17th Avenue to get to the Fourth Street Ramp can still access it from 5th Street going eastbound or 4th Street.
The action wraps up on Sunday with men's tennis hosting Indiana (12 p.m.), softball hosts Iowa (12 p.m.) and baseball hosts Nebraska (1 p.m.).
Fans are recommended to park in either the Fourth St Ramp, Church Street Garage, or Maroon Lot next to TCF Bank Stadium.
