April 26, 2017 Minneapolis, Minn. - Men's gymnastics finishes strong at the NCAA Championships and softball moves up another spot in this week's polls. Tickets for all upcoming home events are available by visiting mygophersports.com.
Softball - #4
Last Week: The University of Minnesota Gophers completed the sweep by topping Iowa 3-0 in front of a Jane Sage Cowles record breaking crowd of 1,383 fans Sunday.
This Week: The University of Minnesota Gophers are set to host North Dakota State for a midweek doubleheader on Wednesday with first pitch set for 4 p.m.
The Gophers and NDSU are familiar foes. The Maroon and Gold battled the Bison twice in the NCAA regionals a season ago coming away with victories in both.
Men's Gymnastics - #5
Last Week: The University of Minnesota men's gymnastics team earned its first top-five finish since 2002 at the NCAA Championships. The Gophers scored a 414.200 for fifth place on Saturday night at the United States Military Academy in West Point, N.Y.
