Minnesota Finishes 10th in Big Ten Tournament

Minnesota placed 10th in the 2017 Big Ten Tournament, completing its final round Sunday after shooting 299 for the day. As a team, the Golden Gophers had their best round on Friday in round one, shooting 291.
Justin Doeden finished with the Gophers' lowest score, carding 71 in the third round after a 71 and 74 in the first and second round. He concluded the tournament hitting 216 overall, landing in 23rd place, including four birdies.
Thomas Longbella, who led Minnesota in the first two rounds, tied for 28th after shooting a 76 in the third round. Longbella tallied two birdies at the fourth and 10th holes.
Rúnar Arnorsson posted a 77 in Sunday's round. He finished the tournament shooting 223 overall and tied for 44th.
Finishing in 64th and 65th place were Riley Johnson and Grady Meyer, respectively. Johnson shot 75 in the third round, his best of the tournament, thanks to two birdies and four bogies. He tallies a 231 overall. Meyer hit 78 in the third round, shooting 232 overall. He shot one birdie on hole 4 with six bogies.
Illinois won the team portion of the tournament, shooting an 11-under 829 overall. Dylan Meyer of the Illini topped the scoreboard in the individual tournament. He shot a total of 205 for 5-under.

SJU Spring Invitational
Charlie Duensing is tied for second after the conclusion of the SJU Spring Invitational at Monticello Country Club. He carded a 2-under 70 on the first day and a 72 on the second day. Alex Uloth tied for 30th after a 74 and a 77, and Campbell Fisher tied for 41st with a 74 and a 78.
