Men's Gymnastics - #5
Last Week: Justin Karstadt was named the 2017 Big Ten Co-Gymnast of the Year after being named the CGA National Gymnast of the Week for his performances at Nebraska.
This Week: Minnesota travels to Champaign, Ill. for the 2017 Big Ten Men's Gymnastics Championships. The meet will run from April 7-8. Both days will be broadcast on Big Ten Network, BTN2Go and the BTN2Go mobile app.
Softball - #7
Last Week: The No. 7/7 University of Minnesota Gophers put on a show in their home opener with five home runs and a pair of run-rule shutouts over South Dakota. The Gophers won the first game of the evening 8-0 and topped the Coyotes 12-0 in the second game. The Gophers have scored double digits in 12 games this season and now have 11 run-rule victories. They move to 32-3 on the season.
This Week: The Gophers will stay home for a Big Ten series against Indiana this weekend. First pitch on Friday is set for 6 p.m.
Receiving Votes: Baseball is receiving votes in the NCBWA rankings.
