Meet Results

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Golden Gopher women's track & field team competed in the hammer throw and pole vault on day one of this weekend's Sun Angel Classic hosted by Arizona State in Tempe, Ariz., Friday night.

Minnesota went four-five-six in the hammer throw invite with three performances over 60 meters, led by Agnes Esser with a throw of 60.83m (199-06.75). Temi Ogunrinde came in fifth with a career-best throw of 60.76m (199-04) to move into sixth among all-time Gophers, and Angie Guenther rounded out the top six with a throw of 60.61m (198-10).

Nina Horvath won the open section of the hammer throw with a career-best toss of 58.78m (192-10) to move into 10th in Minnesota history as well.

Macy Narr and Lexi Kiefer competed in the open section of the pole vault Friday night, but results are not yet available.

Action continues at the Sun Angel Classic on Saturday.
