Gophers Place Fourth at Princeton

Final Results
Justin Doeden led the Gophers with a tie for 11th at the Princeton Invitational. Minnesota finished fourth as a team with an overall score of 869, 12 over par.
Doeden carded par or better in the first and third rounds. He shot the Gophers' lowest round of the final day with a 2-under 69.
Riley Johnson was the Gophers' second finisher, tying for 16th after shooting a 77 in the final round. He led the team through 36, ending up at 4 over for the tournament. Rúnar Arnorsson was one shot behind, ending in a tie for 19th shooting 5 over in the third round.
Peter Jones had a 74 for the day and tied for 24th at 7 over. William Leaf tallied a third-round 79 resulting in a 37th place tie (+10).
Seton Hall University captured the team title with a score of 853, five ahead of Harvard. Host Princeton rounds out the top three with a 863.
The Maroon and Gold will return to the course for the Hawkeye Invitational on April 15 and 16, their last tournament before Big Ten Championships.
