Minnesota returns 83 percent of its scoring for the 2017-18 season, including two-time All-Big Ten Second Team honoree Carlie Wagner and All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selection Kenisha Bell. The Gophers' four freshmen will return after a year of valuable collegiate experience, and 40 starts among three of them.
The Gophers will also welcome an exciting signing class, including Destiny Pitts, one of ESPN's top-20 guards in the country. Minnesota more recently added Paloma Gonzalez, Passion Hoops' No. 2-rated European prospect, and Irene Garrido, an all-region junior college transfer.
