Bacon, Siwicki Compete in National Events

Sarah Bacon placed fourth on the 3-meter springboard at USA Diving's World Championships Trials over the weekend. The returning Gophers sophomore posted a 15-dive score of 857.45 through prelims, semifinals and finals in Indianapolis.

Recent graduate Breanne Siwicki competed at USA Swimming's Open Water Nationals in California's Castaic Lake. She placed 31st in the 10-kilometer race in 2:17.11 on Friday. Siwicki had already earned a place on Canada's roster for the 2017 World Championships and World University Games.
