The Golden Gopher men's golf team recorded a 3.29 spring grade point average, bringing the team's cumulative GPA to 3.22. Jose Mendez turned in the highest spring GPA of 3.91.

Minnesota has notched a team GPA of 3.0 or higher in 13 of the past 14 semesters. Under head coach John Carlson, the Gophers have been named a GCAA All-Academic Team each year.

"I wanted to congratulate all our student-athletes on a fine semester academically once again," Carlson said. "This is outstanding and it takes an entire team that is working hard towards the goal of being an elite student-athlete. Thank you to (academic advisor) Jacque Hoak, men's golf support staff and parents for helping achieve our goals, both on the course and in the classroom."
