Peronnin Completes First Round at NCAA Regional

Senior Emie Peronnin opened play at the NCAA Columbus Regional on Monday, hosted by Ohio State University at its Scarlet Course.

Peronnin, who is making her second trip to the regional round after an appearance in 2014, carded a first-round score of 11-over-par 83. She is among a four-way tie for 77th place, as the Fréjus, France native was one of six individual competitors in the field.

Purdue's Marta Martin Garcia fired the only below-par round of the day, and is leading the field at 2-under-par 70.

The second round of the NCAA Columbus Regional will get underway Tuesday morning from Columbus.
