Manders Earns Runner-Up Showing

MINNEAPOLIS -- As the lone Gopher women's track & field representative to compete last weekend, Natalie Manders earned a runner-up finish in the discus at the Hamline Meet of the Un-Saintly on Saturday.
Manders threw 43.22m (141-09) to finish second in the discus in her final competition of her rookie season.
Up next, the Gophers enter the championship portion of the season, beginning with the 2017 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Penn State, Friday, May 12 through Sunday, May 14.
