Gopher Softball Announces Fall Camp Date and Times

MINNEAPOLIS ââ'¬" University of Minnesota Softball Camps announced that their fall camp will take place on Saturday, September 23. Camps will take place outside at historic Jane Sage Cowles Field. Campers will receive advanced instruction from the Gopher coaching staff.
Meet the Gopher Softball Camp Staff
Jamie Trachsel
Coach Jamie Trachsel has mentored 19 NFCA All Region Players and 4 All Americans. The Gophers new leader is one of the top rising coaching stars in NCAA Division 1 softball. Long known for her skills as a defensive technician, Trachsel brings her teaching prowess to the Gophers.
Cat Heifner
Coach Cat Heifner joins the Gophers after engineering one of the most consistent offenses in NCAA. Heifner has tutored 3 All Americans, 23 NFCA Pacific All Region winners and the 2011 National Home Run Champion. Her offense have ranked nationally since 2009.
Piper Ritter
Coach Piper Ritter was one of the most decorated Gopher hurlers to wear maroon and gold. As a coach, Ritter is considered one of the most accomplished pitching coaches nationally. Under Ritter's tutelage the Gopher pitching staff ranked 3rd nationally in team ERA in 2017. Coach Ritter has mentored 2 All Americans, 2 First Team All-Region Pitchers, 2 Big 10 Freshman Pitchers of the year, and 1 Big 10 Pitcher of the Year.

Offensive Camp: 10:45 a.m. ââ'¬" 1:45 p.m.
Chalk Talk: 1:45 p.m. ââ'¬" 2:30 p.m.
Defensive Camp: 3:15 p.m. ââ'¬" 6:15 p.m.
Pitching Camp: 3:15 p.m. ââ'¬" 6:15 p.m.
Catching Camp: 3:15 p.m. ââ'¬" 6:15 p.m.
