Gopher Soccer vs. Michigan & Michigan State

The Gophers will celebrate MYSA Weekend and continue their 25th Season Celebration this week. The Gophers will host members of the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association at both games. On Thursday, the first 200 fans will receive a 25th Anniversary Logo water bottle. On Sunday, Gopher soccer alumni will be recognized at halftime in honor of the 25th Season Anniversary Celebration. Stick around post-game for Signing Sunday and the chance to meet some of your favorite Gophers.

Gopher Women's Tennis hosts Gopher Invitational
Thursday-Sunday, Baseline Tennis Center

The University of Minnesota women's tennis team hosts the annual Gopher Invitational this weekend at the Baseline Tennis Center. The tournament runs Thursday through Sunday. The Gophers will be bringing in around 80 players this year, and will host 10 different teams.

The Gophers return home to Maturi Pavilion to open Big Ten Conference play this week. Various Gopher volleyball athletes will be signing autographs following the conclusion of Sunday's match. Autographs are open to any guest in attendance, but limited to one item per guest.

Gopher Men's and Women's Cross Country hosts Roy Griak Invitational

The 2017 Roy Griak Invitational marks the 32nd annual running of the annual meet hosted by the Gopher men's and women's cross country programs at Les Bolstad Course in Falcon Heights, Minn. One of the largest meets in the country, the Griak Invitational includes six collegiate races and four high school races.

The 2017 Griak Hall of Fame class will be inducted during the meet as Minnesota honors Dan Dornfeld (USATF Minnesota), Don Fritsch (UW-La Crosse), Nic Matack (Duluth East HS), and Kendall (Wheeler) Schoolmeester (Duluth East HS).

Fan Fest, hosted by Nike, Mill City Running, and Gopher Athletics, is open to all fans. Located east of the driving range parking lot and west of the start/finish area, Fan Fest will include a sign-making station, yard games, music, concessions, and more.

Fans unable to attend the event can catch live coverage of the Griak on FloTrack. Live coverage will begin at 9 a.m. CT and continue throughout the duration of the competition.

Gopher Women's Hockey vs. Korea (Exhibition Game)
Sunday, 2 p.m., Ridder Arena

Fans can get their first look at the 2017-18 Gopher women's hockey team when Minnesota faces off against Korea in a free exhibition game Sunday at Ridder Arena. Gopher Athletics has declared Sunday as Kathleen Ridder Day in honor of Ridder's incredible legacy. The Gopher women's hockey team will hold a ceremonial puck drop prior to Sunday's game with Kathleen Ridder Crampton, Robert and Kathleen Ridder's daughter, and the team will wear helmet stickers in honor of Ridder. Pick up a commemorative Kathleen Ridder Day game program as well.
