The Gophers Return Home Feb. 9

Lexy Ramler notched the top all-around score in the Big Ten this past weekend with a 39.450 and was named both the B1G Gymnast and Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Ramler led the Gophers to a 196.075-194.925 victory over the Michigan State Spartans. She did not score less than a 9.800 on any of the four events. She took third on vault with a 9.800 and second on both floor (9.825) and bars (9.875).

Ramler's top performance of the night came on beam when she scored a 9.950, the highest mark posted by a Gopher all season. Through two weeks of competing Ramler is No. 1 on beam in the entire NCAA and is third in the Big Ten in the all-around.

This is the first conference accolades of Ramler's career and the first of the season for any Gopher. Ramler and the Gophers hit the road this weekend to take on Ohio State and Illinois State in Columbus, Ohio.
