Each week we will be taking a minute to talk with the Gophers about a topic going on in the world. This week we asked the guys what sport they would compete in at the Winter Olympics if they could.
Antoine Winfield Jr.: Snowboarding.
Jacob Huff: It would be ski jumping because I like the height, it's all how.
Thomas Barber: Easily I would do hockey. Hockey is my true love and always will be, but RTB.
Nate Umlor: Snowboarding because it goes fast and looks dangerous.
Casey O'Brien: Curling because my mom always makes me sweep the kitchen floor when I am home so I have practice.
Payton Jordahl: I would probably like to do curling. It seems pretty fun but very competitive as well.
Blake Cashman: I would do the biathlon because I like how it mixes cross country skiing with shooting.
Jerry Gibson: Halfpipe
Coney Durr: Bobsled.
Ko Kieft: I would definitely be in the halfpipe. If I kind of look like Shaun White, maybe I can snowboard like him. Let it be known that I'm an uglier version of Shaun so the snowboarding will also be subpar in comparison.
