Warm-Up Lap: Q&A with Agnes Esser

MINNEAPOLIS -- Agnes Esser is one of six Gophers who will represent the University of Minnesota women's track & field team at the NCAA Indoor Championships next weekend.
This season, Esser moved into second in program history in the weight throw with a mark of 21.67m (71-01.25 ) set at the Parents Day Invite. She also finished third in weight throw at the Big Ten Conference Championship.
Esser will make her NCAA indoor debut after placing 15th in the discus to earn Second Team All-America honors at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Championship. Before Esser and the No. 12 Gophers compete at the NCAA Championship next week, get to know Esser on and off the track.
