Ramler Adds Another B1G Honor

Lexy Ramler is the Big Ten Gymnast of the Week after a dominant performance at the Sacramento State quad-meet this past weekend, the conference announced Monday.
Ramler took three podium finishes and her seventh all-around title of the season. Her all-around score of 39.575 is her second highest mark of the season. She scored a 39.600 earlier in the season which is still the highest score by any B1G gymnast this year.
On vault, Ramler notched a 9.850 to finish in a six-way tie for first. She broke her career high on bars with a 9.950 to help the Gophers tie their school record on the event with a 49.450. Ramler continues to be a force on beam. She notched a 9.925 for a second place finish and was fourth on floor with a 9.850.
The St. Michael, Minn. native has now won four B1G Gymnast of the Week honors. She has also won four B1G Freshman of the Week awards. She leads the conference in all-around and is No. 10 in the NCAA. She is No. 4 in the entire country on beam.
Ramler and the Gophers enter postseason this weekend as they travel to Rutgers for the Big Five meet on Saturday, March 17 at 4:30 p.m.
